SATURDAY WATERCOLOUR WORKSHOP
The Saturday indoor watercolour workshop starts at 10.00am and we go through the basics of watercolour painting, working on linear perspective, aerial perspective, colour mixing, the key measure and tone control. At 1.30pm we have a break and a light lunch and then at 2.00pm we start a painting either from a ready to paint sketch of mine or if the student is confident they can sketch their own that we will all paint together were I will do a paint along (I paint a bit, you paint a bit). We finish at 6.00pm and can enjoy looking at our finished work. If you have never painted before dont worry I will take you through the basics and painting materials can be hired for the day. If you have any diet requirements please make a note on the booking form.
My aim is to introduce the new starter to watercolours is a steady and relaxed way, I find people adapt better if all pressure is removed from them and they are given time to evolve. With a max number of students been seven I am able to give each individual all the time they need to finish their painting. The workshops are on
Jan 16th.....Feb 20th......March 20th.....April 24th.....May 22nd......June 13th.... the second half of the year to follow soon.
The
cost of the workshop is £40 this includes lunch.

THE TWO HOUR WEEKLY WATERCOLOUR COURSES
There
are various watercolour courses for all requirements. During the week
there are two hour lessons on Tuesday-Thursday held during the day and
in the evenings.
TUESDAY 10AM-12PM......1PM-3PM
WEDNESDAY....10AM-12PM.....6.30PM-8.30PM
THURSDAY 10AM-12PM....1PM-3PM.....6.30PM-8.30PM

THE WATERCOLOUR PAINTING HOLIDAYS
The painting holidays run throughout most of the year starting in June and finishing in September. We try to find accommodation for these holidays that is good and reasonably priced. If you have a caravan why not use it as your base, we take our caravan so we always have a site arranged near to the hotel so we can all meet up in the evenings for a meal and a chat. If you have never painted before dont worry I will take you through the basics and painting materials can be hired for the week. The cost of the holiday is £100 for the tuition and then the cost of the accommodation which you will settle your self so if you wish you can choose your own accommodation.
